are exclusively made of specially tested and selected crude diamonds of first class quality and according to DIN 1546.

Highest requirements as to dimensional stability and precision, surface finish of the drawn wire materials, long life expectation and towards an optimal reliability are being met by all ND dies from EDER-Austria.

Natural diamond dies, because of their monocrystalline structure and better surface finish properties, today are mainly used as finishing drawing dies in bore sizes below 0.50 mm Ø and - because of their considerable thermal stability - in refractory wire drawing applications (tungsten / molybdenum wire etc.) too.

MIND: Whenever comparing offers for ND dies, please bear in mind that cheaper quotations frequently do concern dies being made of lower quality / lower carat weight-raw diamonds and often are less precisely profiled, showing a somehow poorer finish or both, not seldom resulting in a distinctly lower die-life too.
